Christian Witch Part One: The Origin Story

Welcome back to The Cauldron! In this episode I give a bit of my backstory–where this Christian Witch came from.

Because I’ve explored this topic in previous episodes, and because not everyone is interested in the backstory of these things, AND because the original episode was getting a bit long, I decided to offer it in two parts.

I, for one, love a good origin story. I think it helps bring important context around why things are the way they are. How did the duckling grow into a swan? What drove the author of my favourite novels to the keyboard? Where on earth did that mousey kid I knew get so much confidence?

Ultimately, I tell this story in an effort to help people feel less alone. We all have our stories, and when we find someone else whose experiences echo our own, it can feel like a revolution. Or at least a sense of comfort. You’re not alone.
